Off to the Caribbean

Darah and I headed out on the road; off to the beach....with the wind in our hair and the music jacked up......

We drove from Cartago all the way to the Caribbean Coast (with a slight detour thru Siquirres...no one told me not to go into Siquirres). We reached the Coast around early afternoon to meet Josiah, Cynthia, Joel and Noe, Ana Maria and Ronald, the Cabecar students who live with us.



We searched for a beach with caves but to no avail but we ended up in a beautiful beach near Panama called Playa Manzanillo in the late afternoon.

Over 3 days, we visited 3 different beaches Playa Manzanillo, Playa Cahuita and Playa Uva. We snorkeled around the only area with Coral still left on the Caribbean.
